IOWA - CORALVILLE

WE TRIED TO FIND FUN THINGS FOR SAMMY TO DO....

NORTH PLATT, NEBRASKA

WE HAD TO STOP ABOUT EVERY 3 HOURS TO LET SAMMY RUN AROUND AND FEED REECE...SO IT WAS FUN TO SEE SOME OF THE COUNTRY AND IT'S HISTORY.

TRAVELING CROSS COUNTRY - SALT LAKE TO BALTIMORE

Shawn's parents were staying with us for a few days before they left for their mission in Baltimore...but Shawn's sister Tricia got really sick in Dallas, so they flew to help her and her 5 kids. So Shawn decided on Saturday to leave the next day and drove their suburban to Baltimore for them...with Sammy and our little Reece.

Sammy's new table

We got Sammy this little table, and he loves it. He was being so funny, almost like he was preaching a sermon or something, that I couldn't resist sharing.

St. George

Sammy decided to steal his little sister's pacifier on the journey to St. George. He was really a good boy. We went to St. George with Trent & Michelle & their daughter Rebekah...who Sammy adores! I wish I had more pic's to share, but I don't, and I'll explain why later.

Jazz Game

Shawn & I went to game 3 against Houston. We were walking towards the arena and there were a bunch of protesters for the polygamists who got their kids taking away. They were actually trying to get the Jazz game cancelled. It was quite a site!

Sammy's Fish Story

When Reece was 3 weeks old, Shawn's parent's were having their farewell in Washington. We weren't planning on going, but decided @9:30pm friday night to get in the car and surprize everyone. Here is Sammy playing in the dirt on the farm..

Brent has a fishing pond on the farm, we thought it would be such a good idea for Sammy to go fishing with his grandpa...and catch his first fish. At this point notice that he is dry.

This is Sammy's first fish, we were really proud. But, he almost didn't get to have this picture taken. Moments before, he got a little to close to the water, lost his footing, and fell head first into the pond. He was completely under, and Shawn had to jump in and pull him out by his foot. This pic shows him soaking wet. Talk about giving your mother a heart attack!!

Reecey's Blessing

Shawn blessed little Reecey on Sunday, April 27th at our house. Brent & Berniel (Shawn's parents) left for an eighteen month mission to West Virginia the next day (more on this later). It was so nice to have family and friends make the time to come and be apart of our special day. Nana Adams ordered special fabric from England and made this beautiful dress for the occasion.
