Shawn is our ward mission leader, and these are two of our full-time missionaries: Elder Shonk and Elder Ramsey. Shawn was able to help them teach Ed and Tony the missionary discussions. The Aguillar's moved into our neighborhood last Fall. We went over and met them, and Shawn invited Ed to play basketball. All the guys were really good to Ed, and he then decided to take the discussions. Ed and Tony decided to be baptized, and Ed asked Shawn to baptize and confirm him. It was a great day!
The primary had a fun activity for the kids...they wrote their testimonies and attached them to balloons...100 of them, and let them go! Sammy & Reece absolutely refused to let theirs go...and carried them around all the live long day!
Sammy is brushing Reece's new "build-a-bear," it was actually a bunny. (Sammy named her bunny "WUBZY") He got a polar bear with a fireman's had...which he named "Fire Bear."
Kellen came up during conference weekend for the Jazz game & to hang out with us. Kellen was so good with Reece...he got her to calm down and go to sleep.
We took the kid's to Chuck E. Cheese in between Conference sessions on Saturday....
I think Shawn had just as much fun as the kids!
